On 11th December the Rotary Club of Newmarket hosted their annual Christmas carol concert at Tattersall’s Sale Ring, and this year Magpas Air Ambulance was chosen as the nominated charity for the event.
It was a fantastic, joyous event, and an incredible £3,500 was raised. This was spilt between collection buckets on the door and ticket sales, and all in aid of our lifesaving work in the region.
Our volunteer fundraiser Ann was presented the cheque at their latest meeting and gave a presentation on the work that we do, discussing our history, role in the community, the lifesaving work that we do and our 24/7 service.
We would like to sincerely thank the Rotary Club of Newmarket, and everyone that attended for the incredible sum that was raised – it really does make a lifesaving difference.
