In October Alex ran the Chicago marathon – all in aid of Magpas Air Ambulance!
In the baking heat, Alex ran the marathon in a brilliant time of 4 hrs 13 min. Alex was carrying a knee injury but he still beat his PB time by 6 minutes! A brilliant achievement, and one that his brother and two friends were there to witness, which they then celebrated by having a few days sightseeing (and recovering) in the windy city.
Alex raised an incredible £1602.51 for Magpas, a phenomenal amount. Congratulations and thank you Alex!
