Magpas Critical Care Paramedic Steve
As elements of lockdown have eased, the charity has seen a rise in the number of call-outs. In the month of May alone, the Magpas advanced medical team were called to 86 critically ill or injured patients across the region. 56% of all the incidents they were called to occurred in Cambridgeshire, and they were most commonly treating patients in cardiac arrests, suffering accidental injuries or who have been involved in road traffic collisions.
These have been challenging times for all of us, and Magpas Air Ambulance have continued to work on the frontline in Cambridgeshire and beyond, 24/7, throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Magpas Air Ambulance is a charity that relies on generous public donations to continue saving lives. If you can, please donate today. Thank you.
