The fundraising task set was to chip 10 consecutive ‘balls’ into a ‘container’ – whatever that container maybe! Due to COVID-19 Lockdown, we decided to be creative with our fundraising – hence this virtual challenge!”
Debbie goes on to say, “It was a great day and weekend (mainly because of the fantastic weather)! Between the Men and Ladies, we are proud to say that £1,513.00 has been raised so far!”
Emma Sanders, Community & Events Officer at Magpas Air Ambulance, explains “Debbie and her fellow members at Bourn Golf & Country Club have been fantastically inventive and really generous with such an impressive amount raised. We are hugely grateful.”

This brilliant idea could be replicated in a back garden, anywhere, in Cambridgeshire or across our region; whether it’s golf orientated, speed walking focused, or even running motivated…whatever people decide to do; as a charity, we need their support now more than ever.”
