Trustee
Ruth initially worked in the National Audit Office between 1986 and 1991. She then held a number of senior roles within the NHS from 1991, including Locality Director at NHS England, and Director of Urgent and Emergency Care at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG. Since 2018 she has been working as an independent consultant within the health sector. She is passionate about improving services for patients and has a particular interest in trauma services and cancer care.
Ruth has a degree in languages from Durham University, and is also qualified as a Chartered Public Finance Accountant. She lives in Cambridgeshire.
