Moira was seriously injured whilst out riding her horse.
She explains, “I don’t know what spooked my horse, but he shot sideways very quickly and I landed on my right knee and felt it go into my pelvis”.
Moira goes on to say, “Magpas Helimedix, Doctor Fiona Bowles and Paramedic Simon Standen, came and gave me the advanced treatment I needed for the excruciating pain I was in”.
She sums everything up by saying, “They were inbelievable that day, I can’t say enough good things about what they do. I am also most impressed that many of the team give their own time to working with Magpas, because of the high level training they are given by the charity”.
