This is Brandon Gravett and his family when they met the Magpas Helimedix team who saved his life. 11-year-old Brandon had just finished his first day at school. He got off the bus in Papworth in Cambridgeshire, when he was involved in an a collision with a second bus, leaving him with life-threatening head injuries.
Magpas Helimedix Doctor Simon Lewis and Magpas Helimedix Paramedic Dan Read flew to the scene of the incident and provided Brandon with crucial A&E level care, before accompanying him to Addenrooke’s Hospital in a land ambulance (monitoring his condition all the way).
Brandon is making a steady recovery thanks to the support of those close. His mother Kate recently got in contact with us and said, “Brandon has just been given a letter of congratulations for his hard work at school! Thank you Magpas for saving our son’s life xxx”.
The pupils at Brandon’s school have also since kindly raised £5,000 of Magpas! We’d like to say a big thank you for all their support.
