Magpas Air Ambulance is set to feature in the second series of Air Ambulance ER, in an episode to be broadcast on Monday 25th April.

A film crew followed the charity’s doctors and paramedics for two months in the summer of last year. They captured the team as they responded to real-life medical emergencies, offering advanced care to reduce disability and save lives.

The series tells the story of the UK’s extraordinary helicopter emergency medical teams and offers a unique look at the cutting edge medicine and skills they use to save lives every day. Cameras capture the moments from when the emergency call comes in and the team is scrambled – to landing at the scene and treating the patient.

In the third episode of the series Magpas Air Ambulance is scrambled from its base at RAF Wyton near Huntingdon to treat a Cambridgeshire man who has fallen from a ladder and requires specialist medical help. Magpas Doctor Nick Foster and Paramedic Dan Read arrive by helicopter to stabilise the man’s injuries.

Tune in on Monday 25th April at 9pm on Sky One.
