Frequently asked questions
Participants must be 18 years old on or before the event date (18th April 2027).
The deadline to apply for one of our places is 2nd November 2026. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and may sell out before the deadline.
By registering for a charity place, you are expected to raise a minimum of £400 in sponsorship. If you do not reach this target, you may be expected to pay the shortfall. Please note that any matched funding must be in addition to the £400 target and will not count towards it.
Gift Aid is not included in your fundraising total. Unfortunately, Gift Aid isn't guaranteed for charities, even when people claim it on their donations, therefore it doesn't contribute to your £400 fundraising target.
Yes, we'd absolutely love for you to join our team! If you already have a place in the event, please let us know by completing the form on our website. You will not need to pay a registration fee and won't be asked to raise a minimum sponsorship fee, all we ask is that you raise as much as you can.
Should the event be cancelled through no fault of the participant, Magpas Air Ambulance will offer a full refund of the registration fee and the return of any sponsorship funds.
Refund requests must be made in writing and will be refunded by Magpas Air Ambulance via the original payment method.
Yes! Participants will receive an official Magpas Air Ambulance running vest, free of charge.
Participants with a charity place will be required to wear our official Magpas Air Ambulance running vest during the race.
Unfortunately, as per our terms and conditions you can't transfer your place to someone else. If you're unable to take part in the event, please let us know as soon as possible.
We will provide you with a link where you can create and personalise your JustGiving page.
