Recently, Magpas former patient 22-year-old Cliff Johnson, marked the 10th anniversary of an incident that happened near Wisbech, which very nearly lost him his life.
New dad Cliff introduced his new family to the Magpas doctor who gave him a second chance at living and who helped him to recreate his future. Without Magpas Dr Rod Mackenzie’s specialist skills, neither Cliff or his two young children would be alive today. This meeting comes at an extremely poignant time in the evolution of emergency medical charity Magpas, as the organisation has just begun to provide 24 hour enhanced emergency medical care for critically ill patients in the East of England.
