Air Ambulance Week highlights the incredible care that is delivered daily by Magpas Air Ambulance and the UK’s 21 air ambulance charities.

Throughout the week we will highlight how Magpas Air Ambulance and other air ambulance charities save lives every day across the UK, by bringing the emergency department to the side of patients who are critically ill and injured. As a charity that doesn’t receive any regular government funding, and has been heavily impacted throughout the pandemic, this Air Ambulance Week we ask you to support our vital cause by making a donation.

Our specialist teams: doctors, critical care paramedics, pilots and technical crew members provide vital lifesaving care, wherever it is needed because every second counts.

Every day we are called on average to 4 emergency missions in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and across the East of England. This means that across the week we will be dispatched to approximately 28 missions, saving lives and keeping families together across the region.

Despite this we are an emergency service funded almost entirely by you. It is your continued support that saves the lives of the East of England’s most critically ill or injured when they are most in need. Each Magpas Air Ambulance mission costs over £4,000, so if you can donate today and help us to save more lives, please do so here.
