Like many of you, we're excited by the news this week that planning permission has now been granted for Universal Studios in Bedfordshire.
We recognise the fantastic opportunities this brings to our community, and Magpas Air Ambulance is committed to working with all stakeholders and our emergency service partners to serve the growing population as the development progresses.
A key consideration for relocating our airbase closer to Bedfordshire was to ensure that we could reach more patients in the county as quickly as possible. In 2025, the Magpas Air Ambulance medical team has been activated to people in life-threatening emergencies in Bedfordshire almost every day of the year.
As a charity, we’re powered by donations from the communities we work in and are so grateful for our supporters in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and beyond who fund our 24/7 lifesaving service.
