Our team of volunteers underpins all that we do here at Magpas Air Ambulance—we can only continue to save lives because of the time given by those in our community.

Join us and help save lives

We have lots of volunteering opportunities available, and there's no need to make a regular commitment—just a few hours of your time will make a huge difference. Some volunteers help out every week, while others have a favourite event that they attend for us once a year.

There's something for everyone! Our volunteers help with bucket collections, manning stands at events, cheering on runners, loading vans, stock-checking, answering the telephone to take donations and posting fundraising packs, to name a few examples.

What's in it for you?

As a Magpas Air Ambulance volunteer, you will receive a warm and friendly welcome; full and ongoing training; and everything you need to carry out your voluntary role.

There are opportunities to meet up with other like-minded volunteers and to visit our new operational base at Alconbury Weald later in 2023, to see the helicopter and meet some of the medical and aviation team.
