We're here for you

Magpas Air Ambulance is called out to people in the most serious medical emergencies as the advanced care and treatments our medical team provides can offer patients the best chance of survival and recovery. Sadly, despite the very best efforts of our team and the other emergency services, some patients experience injury or illness that they cannot survive.

Many people take comfort in knowing that our advanced care (which can include anaesthesia and strong pain relief) was available to their loved one, and wish to thank our medical team by making a donation or fundraising for us. We are often contacted by the family and friends of a patient who has passed away, usually very unexpectedly.

What our donors say

"On behalf of my family and myself, I would like to thank you for the help you gave my husband when you were called to him. Sadly, he didn’t make it, but hundreds of other people will thanks to you being there for us. I hope you continue to get the support you so richly deserve."

“I held a collection at my late father's wake. The Magpas Air Ambulance team came out to support the medics in helping him—thank you for all the work you do on a daily basis. It's so appreciated.”

"I'm making my donation as a thank you for saving him enough to get him to the hospital so we could say goodbye. Thank you."

Donations in memory

Making a donation in memory of your loved one is a thoughtful way to commemorate their life and help save others’ lives. If you would like to hold a collection at a funeral we can arrange for collection tins to be available. Please get in touch with our fundraising team for more information.

Alternatively, fundraising for Magpas Air Ambulance can create a lasting legacy in your loved one’s name. By taking on a challenge or organising an event, you can fund our lifesaving missions to help other people in serious medical emergencies.
