Warboys, tractor driver suffers suspected stroke – Magpas Air Ambulance called to the scene

At 2.14pm on Wednesday afternoon (25th), Magpas Doctor Raluca Treacy and Paramedic Dan Read arrived in Warboys, via the rapid response vehicle, to treat a man who had suffered a suspected stroke while driving a tractor in a field.

The Magpas medical team assisted an EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew in treating the man (in his 60s). They extricated the patient from the tractor with the help of Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service. The medical team then accompanied him by land ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital where he was in a serious condition upon arrival.
