Stamford, car rolls into ditch – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to scene
At 2.15pm yesterday (6th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Rupert Hurry and Paramedic Dan Phillips) arrived in the Stamford area via the Magpas Air Ambulance – following a road traffic incident where a car had left the road and rolled into a ditch, ending up on its roof.
The Magpas Doctor and Paramedic assessed a woman (in her 40’s) who had suffered a neck injury. The patient was then taken to hospital, in a stable condition, by an East Midlands Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Pilot Andy Figg and Crew Member George Phillips.
Fire and Rescue Services, and the Police were also present.
