At 7.10pm yesterday evening (18th), Magpas Doctor Richard Booker and Paramedic Steve Chambers arrived in St Neots via the Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle. They had been called to treat a man injured in a fall.
The Magpas medical team assessed the man (in his 70’s), who had sustained a head injury. They sedated the patient (providing him with A&E level care) before accompanying him by land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. He was in a stable condition upon arrival.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue were also in attendance.
