Peterborough, woman injured in cycling incident – Magpas flies to her

At 5.43pm on Saturday evening (13th), the Magpas Air Ambulance landed in Peterborough to treat a woman who had come off her bicycle.

The Magpas Doctor and Paramedic assessed the woman (in her 30s) who had suffered multiple injuries to her chest and neck. The patient was then flown to Peterborough City Hospital where she was in a stable condition on arrival.

The Helicopter team who flew the Magpas Doctor and Paramedic to the scene were Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Steve Hunwicks.

The EEAST Ambulance Service and Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue were also in attendance.
