Peterborough, man suffers near collapse – Magpas Helimedix fly to him
At 1:30pm today (26th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah Hazleman and Paramedic Chris Hawkins) arrived in Peterborough via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance – after a man (in his 70’s) suffered a near collapse.
The Helimedix team worked alongside an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew to assess the patient, before accompanying the man in a land ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital (monitoring his condition all the way). On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a serious condition.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Andy Craigie.
