Peterborough, man suffers collapse – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to the scene

At 2.06pm on Wednesday afternoon (4th) Magpas Doctor Richard Booker and Paramedics Ollie Robinson and Dan Cody, landed in Peterborough. They had been called to treat a man who had collapsed.

The Magpas medical team placed the man (in his 30s) into an induced coma (giving him A&E level care at the scene). They then accompanied the patient by land ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital. He was in a serious condition upon arrival at hospital.

The helicopter crew who flew the medical team were Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crewmember Lee Kennedy.

An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.
