Peterborough cyclist suffers fall – Magpas Helimedix called out
At 10:21pm last night (23rd), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Alex Cross and Paramedic Ash Richardson) arrived north of the city of Peterborough, via the Magpas Helimedix Rapid Response BMW – after a woman (in her 40’s) suffered a fall from the bike she was riding and endured a serious lower leg injury.
The Magpas team worked alongside an EEAST Ambulance Crew to assess the patient and administer pain relief. The woman was then taken to Peterborough City Hospital, in a stable condition, by land ambulance.
The Emergency Services worked extremely well together.
