Peterborough, 2x vehicle collision leaves man seriously injured – Magpas called to the scene

At 11.11pm on Saturday night (13th), Magpas Doctor Leigh Bissett and Paramedic Simon Standen arrived in Peterborough via the Magpas rapid response vehicle to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.  

The Doctor and Paramedic team treated a man (in his 30s) for head injuries and anaesthetised him (offering specialist A&E level care) before accompanying him by land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. A second patient had sustained minor injuries and was taken by EEAST Ambulance Service to Peterborough City Hospital.

Cambridgeshire Police, EEAST Ambulance Service and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service were in attendance.
