Papworth Everard, man seriously injured in fall from roof – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to him

At 1:18pm yesterday afternoon (22nd) Magpas Doctor Adriana Cordier and Paramedic Steve Chambers landed in Papworth Everard via the Magpas Air Ambulance. They had been called to treat a man who had been seriously injured in a fall from a roof.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 30’s) who had sustained multiple, serious injuries and sedated him at the scene (providing him with A&E level care). They then accompanied the man to Addenbrooke’s Hospital via land ambulance, where he was in a stable condition upon arrival.

The Magpas flight crew who flew the medical team were Pilot Chris Sherriff and Crewmember George Phillips.

An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.
