Nr Thrapston, woman falls from horse – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to her
At 3.19pm today (28th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah McNeilly and Paramedic Ollie Robinson) arrived in the Thrapston area via the Magpas Air Ambulance, after a woman (in her 40’s) fell from a horse.
The Helimedix assessed the patient who had suffered upper body injuries. The Magpas team provided the woman with pain relief, before she was taken to Kettering Hospital in a stable condition by an East Midlands Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member Steve Hunwicks.
