Nr Terrington St Clement, man falls from roof – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to him

At 2:50pm yesterday afternoon (3rd) Magpas Doctor Scott Castell, Paramedic Ryan Warwick and Doctor Maria Smith landed in a rural location, around the Terrington St Clement area, via the Magpas Air Ambulance.They had been called to treat a man who had suffered a fall from a roof.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 60’s) who had sustained injuries to his lower body. They gave the man advanced pain relief at the scene (providing him with A&E level care), before accompanying him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn, by land ambulance.¬†Upon arrival at the hospital, the patient was in a very serious but stable condition.

The helicopter crew who flew the medical team were Magpas Air Ambulance Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and HEMS Crewmember Simon Amos.

An EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic crew was also in attendance.
