Nr St Neots, 2x car collision – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to the scene

At 6pm on Wednesday evening (22nd) Magpas Doctor Saad Jawaid and Paramedic Ryan Warwick, landed in a rural location near St Neots via the Magpas Air Ambulance. They had been called by the EEAST Ambulance Service to treat a woman injured in a collision between two cars.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the woman (in her 60s) who had sustained abdominal injuries. They sedated her at the scene before accompanying her by land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. She was in a serious but stable condition upon arrival at hospital.

The helicopter crew who flew the medical team were Chief Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crewmember Lee Kennedy.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service, an EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew and Cambridgeshire Police were also in attendance.
