At 6.30am this morning (19th), Magpas Doctor Scott Knapp and Paramedic Steve Chambers arrived at a residential location south of St Ives via a rapid response vehicle. They had been called to treat a woman injured after falling down a flight of stairs.
The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the woman (in her 60’s) who had sustained a head injury. They provided her with pain relief in order to extricate her from the property. The woman was then taken by land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a stable condition.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew was also in attendance.
