Nr Grantham, man in cardiac arrest – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to scene

At 2.09pm yesterday afternoon (9th) Magpas Doctor Anne Booth and Paramedic Alex Pearce landed in a rural location near Grantham, Lincolnshire via the Magpas Air Ambulance. They were called by an EMAS Ambulance Service paramedic crew to assist them with a man who had gone into cardiac arrest.

The Magpas enhanced medical team worked closely with the EMAS paramedic crew and provided the patient (in his 50’s) with clinical care before airlifting him to Lincoln County Hospital. He was in a very serious but stable condition upon arrival.

The helicopter crew who flew the medical team and patient were Pilot Andy Figg and Crewmember Simon Amos.
