Nr Grantham, car vs tree – Magpas called to scene

At 9.40pm on Saturday night (24th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah McNeilly and Paramedic Dan Cody) arrived to the east of Grantham via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – following a road traffic incident where a car had left the road and collided with a tree, leaving a man (in his 30’s) trapped inside the vehicle.

The Helimedix assessed the patient who had suffered multiple injuries. The Magpas team sedated the man (providing him with specialist A&E care on the scene), before working alongside Fire and Rescue Services to safely remove him from the vehicle. The Helimedix then accompanied the patient to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham by land ambulance, where on arrival he was in a serious but stable condition.

East Midlands Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews and the Police were also on the scene.

This is all the information we have.
