Nr Debenham, woman goes into cardiac arrest – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to the scene

At 6.08pm on Sunday evening (13th), Magpas Doctor Richard Booker and Paramedic Chris Hawkins landed in the area of Debenham, via the Magpas Air Ambulance. They had been called to treat a woman who had gone into cardiac arrest.

The Magpas medical team assessed the woman (in her 60’s) and provided her with medication. The team then accompanied her by land ambulance to Ipswich Hospital. She was in a stable condition upon arrival at hospital.

The helicopter crew who flew the medical team were Pilot Andy Figg and Crewmember George Phillips.

An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew and Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance.
