Magpas Helimedix attend footballer in Huntingdon

At approximately 4.30pm on Saturday (9th August), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Peter Holden and Paramedic Rob Riches) arrived in Huntingdon, via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after two footballers had collided with each other.

The Magpas team assessed one of the players who had sustained an injury. The Helimedix team administered strong pain relief and then sedated the patient before accompanying him (in his 30s), in a Land Ambulance, to Hinchingbrooke Hospital. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a stable condition. The other player was uninjured.

This is all the information we have at present.
