Letchworth man suffers collapse – Magpas Helimedix fly to him
At 10:50am yesterday morning (7th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah Hazleman and Paramedic Dan Read) arrived at a residential address in the Letchworth area via the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance – after a man (in his 20’s) suffered a collapse and fell to the floor.
The Magpas team assessed the patient and administered anti-sickness relief, before the man was taken to Lister Hospital in a stable condition, by land ambulance.
The Helicopter team who flew the Helimedix to the scene was: Pilot Richard Eastwood and Crew Member George Phillips.
An EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew was also present. All the Emergency Services worked extremely well together.
