King’s Lynn, woman suffers cardiac arrest – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to her

At 5:22pm yesterday afternoon (14th) Magpas Doctor Adriana Cordier and Paramedic Andy Ormiston landed in King’s Lynn via the Magpas Air Ambulance. They had been called to treat a woman who had gone into cardiac arrest.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in her 50’s). They placed her into a medically induced coma at the scene (providing her with A&E level care) before airlifting her to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The woman was in a very serious condition upon arrival.

The helicopter crew who flew the patient and the medical team were Pilot Chris Sherriff and Crewmember Rob Davies.

An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.
