Huntingdon, road traffic incident – Magpas Helimedix called to scene

At 1.32pm today (13th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah Hazleman and Paramedic Dan Cody) arrived in the Huntingdon area via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – following a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle.

The Helimedix assessed a man (in his 20’s) who had suffered a leg injury. The Magpas team sedated the patient (providing specialist A&E care at the scene) before accompanying him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a stable condition.

An EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew and the Police were also on the scene.
