Huntingdon, man suffers cardiac arrest – Magpas Helimedix called to him
At 2.53pm yesterday (27th), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Sarah Hazleman and Paramedic Dan Read) arrived South West of Huntingdon via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW. A man (in his 50’s) had suffered a cardiac arrest.
The Helimedix worked alongside EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews to provide advanced life support for the patient. The Magpas team then anaesthetised the man (providing specialist A&E care) before accompanying him to Papworth Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a stable but critical condition.
