At 3:06pm yesterday afternoon (27th), Magpas Doctor Richard Booker and Paramedic Steve Chambers arrived near Wyton via the Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response BMW. They were called to treat a man who had lost consciousness after a collision between a bike and a van.
The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 50s) who had suffered a head injury. They provided him with anti-sickness medication before accompanying him in a land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital – monitoring his condition all the way. Upon arrival, the patient was in a very stable condition.
EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crews and Cambridgeshire Police were also in attendance.
