Doddington, man injured in multi-vehicle collision – Magpas Air Ambulance flies to scene

At 5:44pm yesterday evening (4th) Magpas Doctor Sarah Hazleman and Paramedic Steve Chambers landed in Doddington via the Magpas Air Ambulance. They had been called to treat a man who had been injured in a multi-vehicle collision.

The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 20’s) who had sustained serious injuries. They sedated the man at the scene to treat those injuries (providing him with A&E level care), before the East Anglian Air Ambulance crew flew him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition, monitoring him the whole way.

An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew, Cambridgeshire Police and the Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance.
