Cambridge cyclist suffers head injury – Magpas Helimedix attend
At 1am in the early hours of Sunday morning (3rd), Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Jon Birks and Paramedic Kier Rutherford) arrived in a residential area of central Cambridge, via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after a cyclist was found in the road with a head injury.
The Magpas team assessed the patient and put measures into place to protect his brain. The man was then taken, in a stable condition, to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a Land Ambulance.
An EEAST Ambulance Crew and the Police were also present.
All the Emergency Services worked well together.
