At 3.29am this morning (22nd), Magpas Doctor Charlotte Haldane and Paramedic Chris Hawkins arrived in Biggleswade via the Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle. They had been called to treat a man who had gone into cardiac arrest.
The Magpas medical team assessed the man (in his 30’s) before sedating him at the scene (providing him with A&E level care). They then accompanied him by land ambulance to Lister Hospital, Stevenage where he was in a serious condition upon arrival.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew was also in attendance.
