Bedfordshire, man suffers leg injury – Magpas called to him
At 7.48pm last night (26th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Andy Lindsay and Paramedic Dan Read) arrived to the south of Bedford via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW. A man (in his 30’s) had suffered a serious leg injury whilst rollerskating.
The Magpas team assessed the patient and sedated him (providing him with specialist A&E care on the scene). The Magpas Doctor and Paramedic then accompanied the man to Luton and Dunstable Hospital by land ambulance, where on arrival he was in a stable condition.
EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews were also on the scene.
