At 2.10pm on Sunday afternoon (6th), Magpas Doctor Dave Leverton and Paramedic Dan Read landed in Bedford via the air ambulance to treat a woman thrown from a horse.
The Magpas team assessed the woman (in her 20s) who had suffered a back injury. The patient was given pain relief before being flown to Luton and Dunstable Hospital where she was in a stable condition on arrival.
EEAST Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
