A605 Peterborough, motorbike incident – Magpas Helimedix called to scene
At 10:45pm last night (29th) Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Vijayasankar and Paramedic Phil Almond) arrived at the A605, in the Peterborough area, via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW – after a man (in his 40’s) suffered a fall from a motorbike.
The Helimedix assessed the patient who had endured serious leg and arm injuries. The Magpas team sedated the man and administered pain relief (providing him with specialist A&E care at the scene), before accompanying him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a stable condition.
An EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew and the Police were also on the scene.
