The Ely-Hereward Rotary Club raised £775 for Magpas at their Ouse Washes Experience event in September last year.

Magpas Fundraising Co-ordinator Emma Sanders was a guest at the Rotary Club’s meeting last week where she was invited to give a talk on Magpas and the lifesaving service it provides. Emma was then presented the cheque at the meeting by Xander Brown, the event’s youngest entrant.

The Ouse Washes Experience offers the choice of walking, running or cycling round a track near the Old Bedford River. The next event will be held on Sunday 20th September 2015. Although Magpas will not be headline charity this year, there is the option of entering and raising money for a charity of your choice, so you will still be able to fundraise for us.
