On Sunday, 26th and Monday, 27th November, Magpas Air Ambulance is calling on the community to help plant over 2,000 trees at the site of our new airbase and headquarters in Alconbury Weald.
The new trees will help to complement the bespoke building, which has been designed to minimize its impact on the environment, as well as enhancing and improving the existing planting on site and across the wider Alconbury Weald development.
The two planting days take place within National Tree Week (25th November-3rd December) and with help from local residents and organisations, the new trees will not only help offset the charity’s carbon footprint and improve our contribution to the environment, they will also create a calm and natural surrounding for both patients and clinicians.
But we can’t do it without you!
