Magpas Air Ambulance is a growing organisation with opportunities occasionally available in both emergency medicine and in clinical, administrative and executive support roles. Positions for doctors and paramedics will be advertised here and on the NHS Jobs website.

HEMS Technical Crew Member
Application closing date: 5th August 2022

A Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) Technical Crew Member (TCM) is primarily responsible for assisting the pilot with aviation safety and navigation in the conduct of HEMS missions. They are also responsible for a number of administrative tasks associated with the safe and effective operation of the airbase and more general support to the charity as directed by the director of operations and operations manager. The successful candidate will have a passion for aviation, particularly HEMS, with the drive and enthusiasm to be part of a first class team.

Caring Canvassers required for our Weekly Lottery
Location: Cambs-Beds-Norfolk

We are looking for full and part time door canvassers to recruit players to our Magpas Air Ambulance lottery.

This £1 per week lottery is a popular, low cost and fun way to support the charity. If you are a great communicator and have sound people skills, this could be the change you are looking for. This is a chance to enjoy your work and know that you’re making a difference to a charity close to people’s hearts. In return we offer an excellent package which includes good basic and commissions, self-employed also available.

The role would suit door to door sales professionals from utilities and other sales backgrounds, experienced fundraisers with face to face people skills. On-going training, the tools to be the best you can and continual personal development are at the heart of our culture. The use of a car is desirable due to the nature of the role as you will be required to drive to work within an operating location although those with good public transport links may be considered for some areas.
