Run the Cambridge Half Marathon for Magpas Air Ambulance on Sunday, 5th March 2023 and help save lives!

Experience the streets and sights of historical central Cambridge in a brand new way in this extremely popular running event, which kicks off at 9am from Midsummer Common. 

With the flat course lined with support and the Magpas Air Ambulance fundraising team cheering you on, this is a fantastic event to run your first half marathon or get your next PB.

Logistics

Participants have to be 17 years old on or before the event date

The race starts at 9:00am however not all runners start at the same time. Runners are organised into waves depending on their estimated finish times. The first wave will leave at 9:00am, with the last one leaving approximately 40 minutes later. Therefore your personal start time could be later than 9:00am. Your race number and wave time will be emailed to you approximately three weeks before the race. Your timing chip in your race number will ensure that your personal start and finish time is captured.

There will be a bag storage tent where you can leave your bag, CHM will provide you with a numbered bag tag. If you would like to wear an old top and dispose of it at the start, there will be large bags that you can put it in. All disposed of items will be passed on to charity.
Yes. There will be pacers running at 1hr 30mins, 1hr 45mins, 2hrs, 2hrs 15mins, 2hr 30 mins and 2hr 45 mins.
